A niche market is a small group of potential customers. Whether your are a business owner or a well recognized Internet marketer that caters to a very specific target audience you must have to find the way to reach them and they must be able to find YOU.

The exciting part of niche marketing is that you could be tapping in your favorite hobby, occupation or the area where you are an expert at and you know that you can build a business around it.

If you want to expand you existing business by making a web site you may find your most valuable contacts right there. You can promote your business locally by distributing brochures and business cards. But with a web site you can promote your business world wide.

How to reach them

A good idea to better promote your business is to collect emails from that niche market. You can make an opt-in list and then you can send them monthly newsletters. This is a good way to get potential customers. You can contact your costumers about special offers, industry news, or new products. The good part of this is that you will be saving time and money on postage and envelope stuffing.

Invite your subscribers to recommend your site to their friends, family or anyone else who has the same interest in the topic. A good idea is to have a link in your site to "tell a friend" or "recommend this site". Your visitor will enter their e-mail address but if you want to send them any type of information, you have to ask for their permission.

To make this more interesting to your visitors create a small free gift. It could be an e-book that they will receive with their subscription. If you provide information to resolve their problems you are going to gain trust and they are going to like you. Always try to contact them in a regular basis at least every month.

If you don't like to write you can always hire a ghostwriter. Always end your article with your name. Collect their information to find out what kind of visitors you are receiving in your web site.
