Before starting your business you will have to find your niche. Now your thought might be, but what is going to be my niche? You might in fact be wondering what is a niche. A niche is a portion of the population with similar interests and needs. Think of a skinny woman wanting to buy clothes for her but since she is very skinny it is very hard for her to find clothes on the regular department stores. Then you decide to sell clothes for her. She will like what you have to offer. You are satisfying her needs. This is in fact a niche.

But where should you start? First thing you need to do is define what your passions, hobbies, interests, and expertises are. Why? Because the more you like what you're doing, the more chances you have to be successful. For example, if you enjoy making decorations with candles, your niche could be selling candles and ebooks with your candle decoration ideas.

To find a merchant or a drop shipper for your specific product, just go to Yahoo or Google and type in the product name + affiliate or drop shipper. You will get a lot of results.
